3.3 billion mobile accounts: one for every two earthings. This story by Paul McNamara today in Network World will blow your mind, well it blows our minds. Not only because of the numbers or the actually statistic, but because of the way it was written – brilliant, fun, smarmy and full of WOW!
But in the end – Paul is right, INFORMA Telecoms and Media who put out the stats did spew forth a ton of handy tid bits – which proves once and for all that earthlings love their mobile phones.
And kudos, yes I said kudos, to Paul for writing something containing statistics that is actually interesting to read.
