IT,
IT Outsourcing,
New things
Ciklum, a Ukrainian Information Technology (IT) outsourcing company started in 2002 by CEO Torben Majgaard, launched Ciklum Team Infrastructure (CTI). CTI’s goal is to synchronize the activities of onshore and offshore Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
The appeal of CTI? It allows independent ISVs to more quickly and efficiently market and acquire revenue. Sales become more effortless with the help of CTI’s advantageous collaborations and reliability. Onshore and offshore participants save time allowing them to focus on other company aspects such as development and costumer satisfaction. In the end CTI helps the project participants maintain security, maximize productivity using bug tracking, remote collaboration and release management among other tools. The key to the success of CTI is the fact that it works for the specific individual needs of the onshore and offshore companies and continues to do so in order to ensure a secure and stable support system as they grow. This customization is what makes CTI so unique, the customization and the additional consultation division called Ciklum’s Services and Consulting Department (CSC), which serves to advise design and management methods. Ciklum, even in this market, continues to expand (adding 34 new clients in the past 60 days) expand and diversify through innovation on traditional outsourcing methods. — LRT

Cool stuff,
IT,
Innovation,
Sexy tech guys
We sure can pick them – first we write about Advertising in our Active Video Networks Tattletech Hot Seat featuring Michael Taylor, then CED writes the top 50 Broadband most promising news and Advertising is on that list several times, and then our next Tattletech Hot Seat is with a familiar face from our Men of ETRE, Richard Muirhead, CEO, Tideway. Before we do his Hot Seat, we first wanted to recap — the company just was named a World Economic Forum pioneer. Only 34 companies were chosen and only 15 were IT companies so that is pretty good.
But this isnt’t the coolest story, their new product Foundation 7.2 – actually maps data center ENERGY use to business applications. For those of you stopped reading when we said data center -wake up! This is important and here is why: Tideway’s new feature gives organizations the ability to analyze power consumption statistics for business applications, view their carbon footprint, and ensure end-of-life, unsupported software is not being used in production applications. In other words, helps businesses conserve and/or divert their energy/resources where needed.
Actually we are just proud that we picked not only the best looking men to be on our lists but smartest ones too. – JLH
